No legal advice. No attorney-client relationship.
1. This site is not legal advice.
Legal Overflow is published by Blake Beyel, an attorney admitted to the Florida Bar. The articles, tools, agents, tracker entries, citation reports, and any other content on this site are provided for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice or a legal opinion, and nothing on this site is intended to be a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney admitted to practice in your jurisdiction who has reviewed the specific facts of your matter.
Legal questions are fact-specific. Information presented here may not apply to your situation, may be out of date, or may be incorrect. Do not act, or refrain from acting, in reliance on anything you read here without first consulting a qualified attorney.
2. No attorney-client relationship is created.
Use of this website, including signing up for an account, uploading a contract or brief to one of the agents, sending an email through the contact form, or following any link or recommendation, does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Blake Beyel, between you and Beyel Brothers Inc., or between you and any other person or entity associated with this site.
An attorney-client relationship with Blake Beyel can only be established by a written engagement letter signed by both parties after a conflicts check has been completed. Until that engagement letter is signed, you should treat all communications on or through this site as non-privileged and non-confidential to the extent permitted by law.
For purposes of Florida Rule of Professional Conduct 4-1.18 (Duties to Prospective Client), use of the AI agents on this site is not a "consultation" about possible representation. The agents process the document you upload mechanically; no lawyer reviews your specific matter as part of running the tool.
3. AI-generated output is not lawyer-reviewed.
The contract-review and citation-verifier agents on this site produce their output using AI models (currently Anthropic Claude). The drafted output is generated mechanically; no licensed attorney reviews the output of any individual run before it is delivered to you. AI models are known to make mistakes, including:
- Misreading a clause or missing a material issue.
- Citing cases or statutes that do not exist (so-called "hallucinations").
- Suggesting language that does not match your jurisdiction or your factual situation.
- Producing analysis that reads convincingly but is wrong.
You — not the agent, not Legal Overflow, not Blake Beyel — are responsible for the use you make of any output. Before relying on, sending, or filing anything that incorporates output from this site, you must independently review it, and where appropriate have it reviewed by a qualified attorney admitted in the relevant jurisdiction.
4. Marketing language and "lawyer voice."
The agents on this site are sometimes designed to produce text in a "senior counsel" or "negotiating counsel" voice. That stylistic choice does not mean a senior lawyer drafted, reviewed, or approved any specific output. The voice is a writing style applied by the AI model, not a representation of the credentials of the drafter.
5. Tracker content.
The case-tracker section publishes commentary on disciplinary and sanctions decisions involving AI use in court filings. Each annotation is generated using AI and reviewed by Blake Beyel before publication. The annotations include, where relevant, references to specific Model Rules of Professional Conduct. These references are educational; they are not advice as to whether any specific conduct does or does not violate any rule. The Model Rules of Professional Conduct are a model promulgated by the American Bar Association. Each U.S. jurisdiction has adopted some variant — the rules in effect in your jurisdiction may differ. Consult the current rules and ethics opinions in your own jurisdiction.
6. Confidentiality and data handling.
Documents you upload to the agents are processed by the third-party services named in the Privacy Policy. Do not upload material covered by attorney-client privilege, work-product protection, or any other duty of confidentiality unless you have first obtained the informed consent of every person to whom that duty is owed. Lawyers in particular should review Florida Bar Ethics Opinion 12-3 and related guidance on cloud-based services before uploading client material.
7. Florida Bar advertising disclosures.
This website is an advertisement for a Florida-licensed attorney. The information contained on this website is presented in compliance with the Rules Regulating the Florida Bar.
- Lawyer responsible for content: Blake Beyel, Esq.

The hiring of a lawyer is an important decision that should not be based solely on advertisements. Before you decide, ask the lawyer to send you free written information about the lawyer's qualifications and experience.
No representation is made that the quality of the legal services to be performed is greater than the quality of legal services performed by other lawyers.
8. Jurisdictional reach.
Blake Beyel is admitted to practice in the State of Florida. Nothing on this site should be construed as the offer or provision of legal services in any jurisdiction in which Blake Beyel is not licensed. If you are located in a jurisdiction other than Florida, you should consult counsel licensed in your own jurisdiction.
9. Updates and corrections.
This page may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time you use the site governs that use. Material corrections are noted with a publication date.
